A rinse and a spray are not the same job. A spray wets things. The Frida Saline Rinse flushes, and flushing is what shifts congestion sitting somewhere a tissue cannot reach.
How it works: Pre-mixed sterile saline at a preset pressure. Nothing to measure or mix, nothing to squeeze. The flush runs the same every time, and you are not judging pressure while a kid squirms.
Doing it over the sink: Have your child lean forward over a sink or the bath. Put the kid-sized silicone tip against one nostril and let the saline run through, carrying the snot and debris out with it. Keep a towel handy. The first one is the messy one.
When to use it: Through allergy season, during a cold, or any stretch when congestion keeps coming back. Talk your child through what is about to happen before you start. The second rinse is always easier than the first.
Afterward: Rinse the tip clean, let it dry, and store it somewhere it stays clean between uses.
Ages: 2 and up, per the pack. Stay with your child for the whole rinse, and check with their doctor first if they have had ear or sinus trouble.
