What they do: Catch letdown before it reaches your shirt. Up to 8 hours of absorbency per pad, which covers a night or a workday, whichever comes first.
The two layers: A pillowy soft inner layer against your skin, and a leak-lock core behind it that pulls milk away from the surface and keeps it there. Sore skin does not want to sit on something damp.
Staying put: Double stick strips on the back hold each pad flat against the inside of a bra. A pad that shifts is a pad that bunches, and a bunched pad is what you notice for the rest of the afternoon.
Sensitive skin: Dermatologist tested for sensitive skin. In the early weeks, the pad is against cracked skin for hours at a stretch, and the soft inner layer is the reason that works.
How to use them: Change to a fresh pad when it feels saturated or after roughly 8 hours, whichever comes first. Each pad is individually wrapped, so an unopened pair stays clean in a diaper bag, a glove box or a work drawer until you need it.
Count: 60 pads per box. Enough to stop counting.
