Brushing together: At two, brushing is something you do with your child, not something you hand over. Sit down, put your hand over theirs, and take the Toothhugger around one tooth at a time. Keep it to brushing. A toothbrush, not a teether, and it goes back in the cup when you are done.
Why the head is angled: A flat row of bristles cleans one face of a tooth at a time. The Toothhugger head wraps the tooth from three directions at once and cleans all sides in the same pass. With a toddler you get a limited number of passes. Each one should count.
Gentle on gums: Soft, rounded bristles. The head is toddler-sized and can reach the back teeth without filling a small mouth.
Ages: For toddlers 2 years and older, brushing with an adult.
Knowing when to replace it: Blue bristles fade toward white with use. Faded bristles are the cue to open the second brush in the pack.
After brushing: Rinse thoroughly under running water and store it upright to air-dry.
