Which Frida saline is which: The Snot Spray puts larger droplets across the front of the nose for a fast loosen. This one, the Saline Mist, has finer droplets that carry further back into the nasal passage — gentler going in and deeper once it is there. The Mist Inhaler is finer still and is breathed in over a session. Picking the wrong one is the most common reason a saline product gets reviewed as ineffective.
How to use it: Spray into the nostril, give it a moment to soften what is in there, then use an aspirator. That order matters. Dried mucus needs thinning before there is anything for suction to draw out.
Size: 0.68 fl oz, which is the portable one. If you want a bottle that lives in the bathroom cabinet rather than the diaper bag, there is a 3.4 fl oz version.
Care: Wipe the nozzle after each use and let it dry. Keep one bottle per child rather than passing a single bottle around the household.
